Lachlan Campbell is an illustrator and cartoonist who lives in Dorset with his dysfunctional family and an assortment of badly behaved pets.
Born in 1958, he studied Art at school. After 5 years in the army he started and ran his own building and renovation company for 25 years after which he gravitated back to drawing and illustrating.
He formed his own small publishing house, Glenorchy Publishing in 2016 to handle his own projects.
His range of work covers book illustrations, cartoons, advertising logos and private commissions with his main mediums being water colour, gouache and pen and ink. More recently he has moved into all aspects of graphic design in Photoshop.
His Cartoons are his observations of life, mostly the things that annoy and irritate him when life is taken just a little too seriously.
He has written and illustrated three of his own books, as well as illustrating two history books and doing promotional works for a restaurant and several businesses.
He is currently working on several book projects for his own publishing house and others, he is the ‘in-house’ illustrator for New & Lingwood.
